Background
Terry Ewell is former Chairperson of the Department of Music and bassoon professor at Towson University. In his 40 plus years as a professional musician he has received recognition as a performer, teacher, scholar, and administrator.
He is also a former President of IDRS (International Double Reed Society), the world's largest organization dedicated to providing resources, meetings, and support for double-reed musicians playing the bassoon and oboe.

Kristin Wolfe Jensen is Professor of Bassoon at The University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music, serves on faculty for the International Festival Institute at Round Top, and is Principal Bassoon for the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra.
She is also the Founding Director of the Meg Quigley Vivaldi Competition and creator of MusicandtheBassoon.org.
