The Council of Canadian Bassoonists is dedicated to introducing diverse audiences to the bassoon through musical performances and educational enrichment. We are an organization of professional bassoonists, teachers, students and friends of the bassoon. The COCB welcomes all ages and backgrounds, including the lay person, the beginner, the amateur, the student and the professional. We are a trusted resource for the advancement of education and stimulating collaborative initiatives.

The Asian Double Reed Association is a new organization dedicated to serving the needs of all double reed players in Asia.

The Australasian Double Reed Society Inc. is a non-profit organisation which promotes and enhances knowledge of double reed instruments (oboe and bassoon family). ADRS encourages performance, education and interaction between double reed players of all standards, and maintains close links with similar societies throughout the world.

A Associação Brasileira de Palhetas Duplas, um sonho idealizado há décadas por oboístas e fagotistas brasileiros, é uma sociedade civil sem fins lucrativos fundada durante o I Encontro Nordestino de Palhetas Duplas, em João Pessoa, que tem por objetivo promover pesquisas e estudos analíticos sobre os instrumentistas de palhetas duplas, suas condições e relações de trabalho, promover intercâmbio cultural e profissional consolidando os Programas de Pós-Graduação, os cursos de graduação e os cursos de formação técnica em Música por meio de encontros que visam reunir, incentivar e promover a integração entre os docentes de Pós-graduação e graduação, pós-graduados, pós-graduandos, graduandos, pesquisadores, artistas, alunos e professores de conservatórios e escolas de música.
ASOCIACIÓN DE FAGOTISTAS Y OBOÍSTAS DE ESPAÑA

La Asociación de Fagotistas y Oboístas de España organiza su primer concurso nacional de composición para fagot y piano. AFOES inicia este proyecto con el afán de promover la composición de compositores españoles para fagot y oboe.
BRITISH DOUBLE REED SOCIETY (BDRS)

The British Double Reed Society is a not-for-profit organisation established to further the interests of all involved with double-reed instruments. The BDRS acts as a national forum for debate and the exchange of ideas, information and advice on all aspects of double-reed instruments. It also fulfils an important role in encouraging greater interest in the instruments, and securing their place in the wider cultural and educational environment. The British Double Reed Society (BDRS) was founded in 1988 to promote and enhance the interests of all double reed players, whether students, amateurs, professionals or teachers.

Fagotspelen is een geweldige hobby, die ruimte biedt voor zelfontwikkeling én voor samenspel. Of je nu graag in je eentje speelt of juist het liefst in kamermuziek- of orkestverband, de kans is aannemelijk dat je thuis heel wat uren besteedt aan zelfstudie. Hoe zit het nu precies met dat oefenen? Hoe lang, hoe vaak, op welke manier? In deze online workshop wordt dit het onderwerp van gesprek.
FINNISH DOUBLE REED SOCIETY

Finlands oboe och fagottförening r.f. (SOFS) grundades av 40 ivriga oboister och fagottister 5.10.1985 i Tammerfors. Föreningens mål är att främja oboe och fagott spelande i Finland och bekanta stora allmänheten med instrumenten och musiken som komponerats för dem. För tillfället har föreningen ungefär 300 medlemmar som består av både professionella och amatörmusiker, musik studerande och andra vänner av oboe och fagott. Förutom de egentliga medlemmarna har föreningen fem hedersmedlemmar.

MIDWEST DOUBLE REED SOCIETY

The Midwest Double Reed Society is an active organization stemming from the six-state area of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Iowa. Each year the society sponsors a young artist competition for high school and university students in the six-state area and a double reed festival featuring master classes, recitals, and clinics. The society publishes a newsletter, The Double Read Times, three times a year containing announcements of events in the region, news about the membership, and articles including a columns on double reed pedagogy, instrument maintenance, and reeds.

Norsk Dobbeltrørlag (DOR) er en frivillig organisasjon som skal være en arena for profesjonelle utøvere og pedagoger, amatører, elever og andre interesserte der det spres kunnskap om instrumentene, deres litteratur og om rørlaging.
